Ondansetron (Zofran) prevents nausea and vomiting. It works by blocking substances in your body that may cause nausea and vomiting. It belongs to a class of medications called antiemetics. Zofran is included in the Hangover specialty drip.

The standard dose of Zofran is 2 mg. Patients may take up to 4 mg.
